Let the Games Begin

Chapter 6

Through a network of ‘neutral’ contacts, Selmak was able to arrange for Sam and Casey to meet with Ba’al. He had agreed only when learning that the two women were Tau’ri, and members of the SGC. He was not informed of their immortality, no one was willing to take the chance that he might harbor a deeper hatred for Immortals than a will to seek an alliance with the Tau’ri. No one believed that any alliance agreed to would last any longer than it benefited Ba’al, but it would give them an opportunity to find out just exactly what he was up to.

The Phoenix was to meet with Ba’al’s ship in the Hartonan system. Daniel and Jack weren't happy about their wives being on a Goa’uld ship without them, but the terms of the meeting were that Sam and Casey were to come alone, and unarmed.

The two women were sitting in the dining hall of the ship, sipping coffee, bolstering one another’s courage as they waited to arrive at the rendezvous point.

"Okay, so, we agree that we both flirt with him, make it seem as if we’re competing for his attention, and let him pick which one of us he’ll confide in," Casey said.

Sam nodded. "Selmak has the Sectonin hidden in several large rings. All you have to do is put the stone against his skin and push firmly. Once he’s out, you whisper in his ear about the lovely time he had, and that’s the end of it."

"Sounds easy enough."

"Usually when it sounds that easy, something goes wrong," Sam said with a grimace.

"Positive thoughts, girlfriend, positive thoughts."

Jack and Daniel approached the table and sat down beside their respective wives. Daniel took Casey’s hand and lifted it to his lips. "You can still back out, babe. Nobody will mind."

She smiled. "You won’t mind. The Tok’ra would. The Immie Council would…well, maybe not. Dad was upset when he found out about this. Methos just looked at me and told me that if Ba'al gets out of line to remember my right hook."

Daniel smiled. "You do have one hell of a right hook," he said. He should know, he’d been on the receiving end of that punch. "I hate this idea, you know."

"I know," she said softly.

"Case, you’re going to be our only link. We’re sending radios with you, but I doubt that Balls will let you keep them," Jack said. "We expect a report every three hours."

"Uh, I am going to get to sleep sometime, right?" Casey smiled.

"Every three hours." Jack repeated firmly.

She nodded. When Jacob Carter walked into the room and looked around, her pulse began to race. It was time. The two women grabbed their packs, and walked to the ring transporter.

Daniel wreathed her face with his hands. "Love you, Angel," he whispered.

"Love you, my heart," she whispered in reply. She kissed him, her lips trembling under his. "Please, stay with me."

"Always, babe. All you have to do is call me. I’ll be right here," he said. He wrapped his arms around her, held her tightly. "Be careful, Angel."

"Always." Another kiss, and she stepped into the center of the rings. Sam stepped in beside her. In a matter of seconds, they were on Ba’al’s ship.

Ba’al was waiting to greet them. His breath caught in his throat when he saw the two beautiful blonde women appear on his ship. He motioned, and two servants quickly took their bags from them. "Do not be concerned, your things are merely being taken to your chambers. Welcome. I am Ba’al."

Casey swallowed. The pictures had not done the man justice. He was…he was good looking! He’s also a freakin' Goa’uld, her mind told her, rather forcefully. She didn’t realize she had been staring until he smiled at her. She held out her hand. "Casey Jackson." Instead of shaking her hand, he lifted it to his lips. Definitely a charmer, she thought.

"Welcome, Casey Jackson," he smiled. He turned to Sam. "You must be Samantha Carter. Welcome." He took her hand and kissed it as well.

Sam looked at her and winked. "So, what is it that you’d like to talk to us about?"

Ba’al threw back his head and laughed. "Direct…to the point. I like that. But, let us become better acquainted before we discuss such matters." He offered one arm to Casey, the other to Sam. "I will escort you personally to your chambers. There you will prepare for the feast I am giving in your honor."

"Wow, a feast…for us? Too cool," Casey said, looking up at him, her green eyes shining.

The Goa’uld looked down into pools of deep green, and lost himself. Here was a woman worthy of being the consort of a god. He glanced at Samantha. Her blue eyes were guarded, she touched him tentatively, only because it was expected of her. His arm tingled where Casey’s hand touched…no, not touched…gripped it. Yes, he decided. He would negotiate with the Tau’ri. And part of the deal would be this woman.

Each of them were given private chambers, complete with luxurious baths. Two female slaves were waiting for them. The rooms, however, opened to one another, allowing the women to be together.

"Sam, do everything the slave wants you to, if you refuse, she’ll be beaten," Casey whispered. She knew from personal experience what happened to Goa’uld slaves.

Sam nodded. "He already likes you better," she grinned.

"That’s because you’re not playing fair. You stopped trying before you started," Casey grinned in return. "I guess it’s probably better for me to get stuck with him…I have a way to alert the guys to trouble."

"Good point. You’d better check in, or they’ll come blasting their way in," Sam said. She wiggled her fingers and followed one of the slaves into her room.

Casey closed her eyes. ‘Daniel?’

'I’m here, babe.'

She opened her eyes and looked around. ‘You should see this room! It’s unbelievable! I think the walls are real gold! And the bed is covered with satin and silk, and it’s really big…and I wish you were here on it.’

She could ‘hear’ him chuckle. 'That’s good, babe.' There was a slight pause. 'Don’t do this to me babe, I’m not alone.'

She giggled. ‘You mean you don’t want to talk about the first thing that…uh…comes up?’ The slave looked at her, but said nothing. The dark haired young woman was filling the tub, adding a generous amount of bath oil to the water, waited for her to undress and get into the water.

'Not right now I don’t. Tell me something that I can answer out loud.'

‘Okay, we’re here, we’re okay, and he’s throwing a feast for us…and oh, yeah, I think he likes me.’ She grinned wickedly, again drawing a look of confusion from the slave. ‘Right now I’m getting into a huge bathtub filled with the most heavenly smelling water…it’s so soft against my skin…makes me feel slick and smooth…’

'Okay babe.' Was he actually moaning? 'Knock it off, Case, I’m getting a hard-on thinking about you there!'

She giggled again, then looked up at the slave. "I just never thought I’d ever be taking a bath on a Goa’uld ship," she said in way of explanation. The slave nodded, then began washing the beautiful blonde woman. ‘Then do you want me to tell you what I’m going to be wearing? It’s a gown…sort of…cut low in the front, high slit on either side, soft creamy silk…’

'Casey Renee…I’m going to get you for this!'

‘Oh, I hope so, my love. Right now there’s nothing else to tell you…except that I love you.’

'Love you too, Angel. I’ll talk to you in three hours.'

Daniel was pacing the bridge of the Phoenix, his arms wrapped around his waist. Casey and Sam had been on the ship less than thirty minutes. They didn’t really expect to hear from Casey yet, but he was hoping that she would at least let them know how they had been treated upon arrival.

'Daniel?'

"I’m here, babe," he said. Immediately Jack was at his side. Teal'c and Jacob weren’t far behind.

'You should see this room! It’s unbelievable! I think the walls are real gold! And the bed is covered with satin and silk, and it’s really big…and I wish you were here on it.'

He chuckled, then saw that every eye on the bridge was on him. "That’s good, babe," he said out loud. ‘Don’t do this to me babe, I’m not alone,’ he thought to her.

He could ‘hear’ her giggle. Which made him smile. Let them wonder what it was. He didn’t have to tell them everything. She was his Wife for crying out loud.

'You mean you don’t want to talk about the first thing that…uh…comes up?'

‘Not right now I don’t. Tell me something that I can answer out loud.’

'Okay, we’re here, we’re okay, and he’s throwing a feast for us…and oh, yeah, I think he likes me.'

He turned to Jack. "Okay babe. She says they’re okay, and he’s throwing a feast for them, and she thinks he likes her." He could see Jack visibly relax. He could feel the muscles in his back tighten.

'Right now I’m getting into a huge bathtub filled with the most heavenly smelling water…it’s so soft against my skin…makes me feel slick and smooth…'

He moaned silently, knowing that she would hear it. He knew that she was perfectly aware of what the thought of her there would do to him. He turned toward the window, fighting to control his body. ‘Knock it off, Case, I’m getting a hard-on thinking about you there!’

'Then do you want me to tell you what I’m going to be wearing? It’s a gown…sort of…cut low in the front, high slit on either side, soft creamy silk…'

He could envision her beautiful body in that dress. Damn! He was fully aroused now. Fatigues only hid so much. And this wasn’t going to be easy to hide. ‘Casey Renee…I’m going to get you for this!’ When she got back, he was going to screw her till she screamed!

'Oh, I hope so, my love. Right now there’s nothing else to tell you…except that I love you.'

He glanced over his shoulder. Jack knew. He could see it in the smirk on his face. "Love you too, Angel. I’ll talk to you in three hours," he said out loud. He stood there, trying desperately to get his body under control.

Jack was at his shoulder. "A few errant thoughts, huh, Danny?" He grinned, clapped the younger man on the back and walked back over to sit on the steps behind the control console.

It was several minutes before Daniel could turn around and join him.
