Sandstorms

Chapter 6

The next day was spent much the same as the previous one. A message had been sent through the 'gate, and an hour later an excited Mike came through, dragging nearly a dozen packing crates with him.

"Holy shit!" he exclaimed, when Casey led him into the library, where Daniel was still busy translating the expansive texts that decorated the walls of the structure. "So did Danny spend the night here?"

Casey giggled. Everyone had been more than ready to call it a night, probably due to the fact that they had been drunk, high, and up until the wee hours the night prior. "Nope. He was pretty tired last night," she said.

"I can imagine." He looked around and gave another low whistle. "It looks like the folks who ran the place could walk back in at any moment," he said quietly. "I don't think there has ever been a find like this!"

"Daniel has made a lot of amazing discoveries," Casey said. "But as far as Ancient Egyptian artifacts, yep, this is pretty impressive!"

Mike grinned. "Good thing the man is naturally modest."

She looked at him, a small frown on her face. "Why?"

"The way you talk about him, most folks would believe he's the Second Coming!"

A blush colored her cheeks. "He's brilliant and incredible and everybody knows that. I just have a habit of stating the obvious."

The older Immortal shook his head. Anyone who wasn't aware of Dr. Jackson's credentials and abilities wouldn't remain unaware long, not if his wife was around! "Yeah, well as long as he has you, there's no chance of him ever suffering from low self-esteem!"

Casey smiled. "It's about damned time that the worldthe universeunderstood just how wonderful and brilliant he is!"

He laughed. "Yeah, Duncan said you were fit to be tied to tell off all the guests at that reception after Daniel's speech. Something about wanting to stand up and scream 'he told you so'."

She giggled. "It was so hard to be as gracious as Daniel was being. I'm still thinking about taking out an ad in the New York Times."

"Well, if you do, let me know, I'll want a copy of that!" He put his hands on his hips. "Okay, let's get these tablets and scrolls packed. Then I'll see how much I remember about Egyptian hieroglyphs."

Jarha approached the camp shortly after dusk. He had been watching, and knew that all of the strangers were now back from the ruins. He bowed slightly as he approached. "Dan'yel, we would like to invite you and your friends to join us this night. Our hunters have returned and are anxious to meet our new friends," the old man said, smiling brightly.

He could feel Casey tense up beside him. "That's very kind of you. We'd be happy to meet the hunters. When should we arrive?"

The old man's smile became a grin. "When the moon begins to rise." He looked at Casey. "Perhaps your beautiful bride will dance again?"

Daniel smiled. "Perhaps she will. Thank you, Jarha. We shall see you when the moon rises."

When the old man had turned to leave, the team gathered around.

"We've been invited to join Jarha and his people again, it seems the hunters want to meet us," he said.

"Guess we should, if it keeps them friendly," Jack replied.

Casey shivered, and reached for Daniel's hand. She had felt that familiar pain, then the soft 'buzz'.  Zinder was nearby.

He pushed a stray lock of hair from her face. "They would like for you to dance, Angel. Are you up for it? I can always tell them that you're not feeling well," he said softly.

She shook her head. "Give me enough time to…change."

"You're an amazing woman, Casey Jackson," he whispered, pulling her into his embrace. He followed her into the tent, watched as she stripped off the BDUs, and her bra, and put on the dress and the sash and the robe. The soft material clung to her curves. The veils went on, and once again he caught his breath. What was it about seeing her dressed like this that made his heart pound so? Was it because she could be a woman from the ancient times that had always fascinated him so?

She glanced over at him as she adjusted the veil in front of her face. "What?"

"You take my breath away," he whispered.

She smiled, he could see her lips curve beneath the sheer, silky material, it reflected in her eyes. "You're just a bit biased in my favor. You see me through eyes of love, not objectivity."

"Casey," he sighed, shaking his head. "Babe, one day you'll realize just what a beautiful…what a gorgeous woman you really are."

She snorted. "I hope not! If I'm as beautiful as you say, I could become quite conceited!"

He laughed. "Wouldn't happen. You're too sweet, much too…modest, to let your beauty go to your head."

She giggled. "I'm beautiful and modest. What a combination! Next thing you know, you'll be telling me that I'm perfect!"

He pulled her into his embrace. "You are, in my eyes," he murmured.

"Now I know you're seeing me through the eyes of love," she whispered.

"We'd better get going," he whispered in reply. "Before I can't stand it any more and take you right here and now."

She leaned up to whisper in his ear. "You'll have me later, my sweet Master, any way you want me."

He shivered from the promise. "Let's go." He took her hand and led her toward Jarha's tent, the others close behind them. Sam had also changed, understanding that it was in their best interests to keep these people placated.

They were greeted warmly, the men settled on low stools provided for them, Sam and Casey joined the women on the floor on one side of the large tent. Wine was poured and served. The men talked loudly, animatedly about the hunt they had been on.

At first she didn’t see him. It wasn't until he had risen to pour more wine for himself and the guests that she realized it was him. He didn't react to their presence. Slowly, carefully she reached out.

'Daniel, he doesn't know us!'

'What?'

'Zinder! His…his memory is gone! All he knows is this village, these people.'

'Like Arrom.' Daniel remembered well being the 'Naked One', with no memory, and only fear of what his past might have held. He smiled when he felt her gentle caress. No doubt she worried that the memory of Arrom would cause him pain. He caressed her, touching her as soothing, as calming, as being touched by her.

Jarha stood and introduced the hunters. Zinder was introduced as Khusa.

Daniel greeted the man. Protected Son. That's what the name meant. Just as the villagers he had encountered named him the Naked One. He turned and quietly translated for Jack, Teal'c and the others. 'Angel, his name is Khusa. Protected Son.'

'I understand.' She leaned over to whisper to Sam.

The men who had provided music before had gathered together, and were carefully tuning their instruments.

"Dan'yel, would you allow your beautiful wife to dance for us?" Jarha asked.

"I will allow it," Daniel replied, smiling.

The men cheered, casting glances at the young woman. They poked one another, reminded one another of how well she had danced before, telling the newly returned hunters of her skill.

Daniel held his hand out, and Casey obediently rose to her feet and crossed the tent. Without being told, she knelt in front of him. God, he loved this woman! So willing to follow the customs of others, so willing to do whatever he asked of her. "Dance for us, Angel," he said softly. He looked at Jarha, and repeated what he had said.

The musicians began to play. She moved her body slowly, sensually, in beat with the music, her gaze locked on the blue eyes that she loved so much, watching him watch her body as she danced for him. Everything, and everyone faded from her consciousness, there was only him, and her, and the music. As the tempo increased she began to turn and twirl, her robe flying open, revealing the thin dress, the slender waist wrapped with the colorful sash.

He watched her, mesmerized by every movement. He let his eyes move over her body, felt his breath catch when the robe flew open, the effect the same for him as if she had been stripping. Time stood still. There was only her. She was all that existed in his world. His body was beginning to respond to the movements her hips were making. She smiled at him, melted his brain, took all ability to think coherently from him. Suddenly, the music ended, and she was at his feet, kneeling before him, her head down as was proper. Daniel reached out, took her chin in his hand and lifted her face. "That was incredible, Angel," he said softly.

The men around them were laughing and clapping, showing their approval. Even the women were impressed, and added their high-pitched calls to the noise that filled the tent.

Khusa watched the woman, knew that her eyes saw only her husband. She was so beautiful! There was something…familiar…about her lovely green eyes

Jack grinned over at her. "You do that pretty well, Case."

She ducked her head and smiled. She stood to her feet and went to sit by Sam.

Several other women danced, but Daniel was convinced that none of them could compare to his Wife. One of the dark haired, dark-eyed women who was dancing reminded him of Sha're, and he remembered how she had danced for him, the night of their wedding. His mind compared the two women that he loved. He had loved Sha're - she was beautiful, sweet, kind; but Casey filled his heart, his soul. Perhaps it was simply because he had been granted only one short year with Sha're, and he and Casey had celebrated nine years together. Perhaps it was because Casey was his Destiny. Whatever the reason, Casey was the one his mind picked as his favorite, with her green eyes and soft smile, gentle ways and sweet, sweet skin.

The men of SG-1 and SG-6 watched Khusa carefully. He had looked at them several times, with nothing more than open curiosity on his face, in his gray eyes. It was obvious that he didn't recognize them. They were all hoping that his memory remained lost.

Daniel told Jarha that in the morning they would be breaking camp and traveling to the valley where several tombs were said to be hidden. He assured the man that they were not going to rob the tombs, that they only wanted to see if the people of Sothis buried their dead in the same way as the ancestors of Egypt. The old man nodded.

"It is easy to become lost in the desert. I will send two men with you who know where the best oasis' are," Jarha said. "Ishram and Khusa are the best guides that we have. They will lead you safely to this valley that you seek, and then safely return you to us."

Daniel tried not to react. "Thank you. You are most generous."

Jack motioned to Daniel. "I think we should probably get some sleep, don't you think?"

The young man nodded. He turned to Jarha. "We have enjoyed your most gracious hospitality, Jarha. But we must sleep now, for our journey tomorrow will be a long one."

The old man smiled. "May the gods travel with you, Dan'yel Jak'son. I will send Ishram and Khusa to you when the sun rises over the mountains."

"We are most grateful. I bid you and the others a good night." Daniel rose, and the teams followed suit. Casey and Sam waited until the men were beside them to move toward the tent opening.

Daniel draped his arm around her shoulders as they walked toward their tent. 'You were amazing, Angel. Jarha was impressed.'

She smiled. 'Thank you. The only man I care about impressing is you.'

'I'm impressed, Angel. Very impressed.'

'Does that mean your anaconda is bothering you?'

He chuckled out loud. 'Oh, yeah. It's bothering me…a lot.'

'Water in the lake should be cool enough to help you calm down.' She glanced up at him, her eyes dancing. Even in the moonlight he could see the laughter in the depths of eyes made dark by the lack of sunlight.

'You are so not funny. You caused this problem, little girl. You're going to take care of it!'

They had reached their tent. They said goodnight to the others, then zipped themselves inside.

"I like that!" she said, her eyes still full of mirth. "You volunteer me to dance, and then when you pop a hard-on over it, it's my fault!"

He chuckled. "Yep, that's right, it's your fault. If you didn't dance so well, I wouldn't have these problems."

She let the robe fall to the ground. The sash followed, and before he knew it, she was standing naked in front of him.

He gasped slightly at the sight of her, the dim light from flashlight flickered over her skin. "Oh, god," he murmured, reaching for her. "Need you, Angel," he whispered against her ear. He took her hand and pressed it against his bulging erection.

She leaned up and kissed him, her fingers massaging him through the heavy material of his fatigues. "Why don't you take these hot things off," she whispered.

He stepped away from her and stripped, his body fully aroused and ready for her. He held out his hand, and when she took it, he pulled her down to the sleeping bags. "Ride me, Angel," he whispered, just before he pulled her close and claimed her lips with his.

She straddled him, rubbed against that hard male flesh, pushing it against his belly. She sighed into his mouth when his hands moved to her breasts, and massaged them gently. She rose up, and guided him between her moist folds. She moved her hips in a slow circle, just the tip of his cock inside her.

"I need to be in you, babe, now," he moaned softly.

She pushed down against him, taking him in hard and fast. Her heart raced as his body became one with hers, fire skipping up and down her spine. She almost cried out from the feelings of pure pleasure that danced through her body as he filled her completely.

"Sweet Jesus!" He grabbed her hips and began to thrust into her, strokes as hard and deep as he could make them. She was massaging him with those inner muscles each time he hesitated.

Her need was a great as his, and she leaned forward, her hands on his shoulders, and began to grind her body against his, back and forth, until they were both gasping for breath. She began to move up and down, her fingers between her thighs, stroking that hard, swollen nub, and his swollen shaft each time she rose up. Her thighs began to quiver. The whimper that always signaled her impending climax filled her throat.  "Oh, goddess," she moaned softly, reaching for that sweet release.

"Come for me, Angel. Give it to me," he whispered. He pulled her down, took her second moan into his mouth as he kissed her deeply.

She pulled away from his lips long enough to whisper to him. "Fill me, Daniel. Give me your love."

He rolled them over, and began to drive into her body; hard, fast thrusts that had her moaning again. He felt the sudden rush of heat and moisture, felt her body convulsing around him yet again, just as he crested the pinnacle of his own climax. He kissed her again, moaning his release into her mouth. He collapsed on top of her, smiled when her arms went around him, held him tightly. When he could breath again, he rolled to his back, and held her close. "Love you, Angel."

"Love you, Sweetheart," she whispered in return.

Satiated, relaxed from the amazing orgasms as well as the wine they had drank, they fell into blissful slumber.
