| Summary……. | It’s Daniel and Annika’s
first Christmas together. The title kind of says it all.
Author’s note: This tale was partly written in response to the queries I had regarding Annika’s past. I hope this sheds a little light on the topic. It’s a little more sentimental than the others. The mythology of the Basilisk quoted by Daniel is 'true', as far as any sort of history of a mythical beast can be relied upon. Main sources of 'description' is from Pliny's 'Natural History', and the website monsters.monstrous.com Dedication: I’m dedicating Christmas Memories to my Dad. I can picture him in his quiet, gentle way, peeking over my shoulder as I tap at the keyboard, giving the angels an elbow nudge and saying proudly, "My daughter wrote that."
